A 400-level student of Fountain University, Osogbo, Hadiza Salami has been declared missing. Miss Salami, according to information obtained by DAILY POST, reportedly alighted at Igbona, Osun State from the vehicle she boarded from Abuja. She had departed Abuja on Friday, July 22, 2022, to meet up with school resumption and the driver had informed her mother that she arrived in Osogbo safely. Efforts to find her are already ongoing as the case has been reported to the Police.
Mrs Tolulope Oluwatoyin Omodanisi
On November 16th 16 2018, Mrs Tolulope Oluwatoyin Omodanisi (Nee Oduyingbo), a Nigerian from Omu-Ijebu, Ogun State, left Ijebu-Ode for Oshodi, Lagos. A few hours later, she communicated with her brother by phone that the bus she boarded has gotten to Ojodu Berger that was the last time her family heard from her. She is 5ft 3inches tall, speaks English, Yoruba, Ijebu and Pidgin fluently. She has brown eyes, brown hair, and she is a devoted Christian. She resides at 21, Anifowoshe Street, Ago-Eto, Agbara, Ogun State. She is a teacher at Command Secondary School, Ipaja.
Goddey Ibama
The family a security officer identified as Goddey Ibama, has declared him missing after he left their Egbeda home in Lagos state on Wednesday, May 24, and has since not returned. In an interview with LIB, his wife, Maryam Ibama, said her husband who is from Rivers state and suffers from stroke, was laid off work in January 2023. She said on May 24, her husband left home to visit his former office to inquire about the token they promised to give to him after he was laid off. She said he left 7am on that day and has not returned home since then. Mrs Ibama said efforts to find him has proved abortive as her husband left home without a phone because the one he had before was bad. She mentioned that she has reported the matter to the police in Ikeja. She also told LIB about how she has been going to different churches to seek spiritual solutions towards finding her husband. She recounted how one Pastor asked her to bring Thirty Thousand Naira and then attend his night vigil where God will show him the exact place her missing husband is. Mrs Ibama said she paid the money and attended the vigil with her daughter, only for the pastor to tell them that her husband was in a woman's house. She said her daughter immediately challenged the pastor to refund the money otherwise she would call him out on social media. She said that the pastor had no choice but to refund the money to them. Ajibade Israel
The family of Ajibade Israel, a 16-year-old boy, has declared him missing after he ran away from home. Adedayo, his sister, said he left their home located at Adisa Akintoye street, Tipper Garage, Ketu in Lagos state on February 25, 2023 and has not been seen since then. Adedayo disclosed that Israel fled home after his mum asked him to wash the dishes and he refused. He got angry, left their home and didn’t return. All efforts to find him has proved abortive. The matter has been reported at the Alapere police station.

The people of Umuokpara Amagu Nachi, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, have been thrown into confusion as one Mrs Chinyere with her three children have reportedly gone missing. The middle-aged woman and her three kids were said to have been last seen at about 6:00 am on Monday, January 2, 2023 Community sources reported that family and friends have been going around the whole village and town in search of them with no success. Oyejoke Sarah Dosekun
Sixty-seven-year-old woman, Oyejoke Sarah Dosekun, has been declared missing. A family member said Mrs Dosekun resides in Mowe and was on her way to a vigil in Ogba area when she went missing on Thursday, May 6. She notified her daughter that she had boarded a commercial bus at about 7.15pm. Her numbers have since been switched off. The family member told LIB that the matter has been reported at the Mowe police station. Stephanie Se-Ember Terungwa
Stephanie Se-Ember Terungwa, a female member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has been declared missing in Abuja. According to her family, Ms Terungwa was last seen on Thursday morning, April 14, 2022, at Lokogoma area of Abuja. Her uncle, Richard Iorliam, said she was abducted with her one-year-old son after attending CDS exercise. The baby was later found but the mother is still missing, Richard said. Stephanie is a graduate of Micro Biology from the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, Benue State. Jamila Ayo Abu
Jamila Ayo Abu who is an 100-level student of the department of Civil Engineering reportedly stepped out of her parents’ home at Ireakari Estate, along Akala-Expressway, Ibadan, on Wednesday, 6th day of July, 2022, to an unknown destination and has not returned home. According to Jamila’s mother, Mrs Abu, Jamila complained of headache and that was why she was left alone at home. Jamila’s mother also said when she got home on Wednesday evening, she met Jamila’s mobile phone on the table and became worried when she did not see her within and even in the neighbourhood. She said she has been trying to know her whereabouts but all to no avail. After waiting for hours without seeing her, they had to report the incident to the police formally. She said “I will be very happy if we can get any vital information on her whereabouts. The Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ ) in Abuja has asked security agencies to help in locating a missing journalist, Mr. Tordue Salem. He is a native of Tiv Benue State and was reportedly sighted on Wednesday evening after which he seemed to have disappeared. Mr. Salem is a journalist with Vanguard Newspapers and covers the House of Representatives. A statement released by the Chairman of NUJ (FCT chapter) Emmanuel Ogbeche and Secretary Ochiaka Ugwu on Sunday said the journalist has not been seen, heard from, or reached since Wednesday, October 13 2021.
